Sahota Vision are a brother and sister duo made up of Jacob and Christy Sahota, who hail from the great depths of Auckland and have recently released their first ever Punjabi single, Don’t Leave Me, in which they have amplified their sound, and have incorporated cultural aspects that blend beautifully with the English language.
I adore that Sahota Vision are able to seamlessly try different pathways for their music like this, carving out their own niche. Having two languages in one song is quite remarkable and adds a whole other layer of enjoyment and care.
Sahota Vision are eloquent, respectfully engaging and they are pulling on the reigns of moving forward with steading progress that will eventually skyrocket them into the ears of many new listeners (one recently being myself).
Having worked with Vince Harder on both Don’t Leave Me and other tracks, Sahota Vision are in touch with their creations, and it’s clear that they are visionaries looking to make a difference in how the present their art.
Sahota Vision’s unity accompanied with their brightly lit words allows the important messaging that they incorporate to be widely appreciated.
Christy and Jacob come across as these humbled, caring people who strive to make a big difference. An inspiring duo that we absolutely need in the world right now.
